zYpper strives for a more solidary society. For this reason, we decided to creat zYpper Fundation. We found inspiration in good work by Aleksander Reberšak. The aid is intended for the family in question, which needs help in the current month. We decided to take € 1 from each purchased zYpper merch in our online store and transfer it to the donation fund. We also deduct € 1 from any paid activity organized by the zYpper association publicly or within the members of the association.
Every end of the month, we transfer these accumulated funds to the account of the family that needs help the most in the current month.
In 2021 we donate over 700€ to the families in need. In 2022 over 800€.

Help for family Jelšnik Kovač
In these difficult times, the Jelšnik Kovač family is reaching out for help and support as they find themselves in an extremely dire situation.
The floods that have struck the country have taken away their home, along with everything they had built in their lives. They have also lost their car, personal belongings, and most importantly, all of their memories.
Janez Jelšnik has always been the one ready to help others. His generosity, compassion, and selflessness have always inspired admiration. However, he now finds himself in a position where he, along with his family, needs assistance.
In the face of such a severe natural disaster, many families and individuals are in need of help. We have decided to direct the raised funds to the Jelšnik Kovač family, as we simply cannot help everyone. By attending and supporting our activities, you are indirectly aiding selected families and individuals who truly require assistance. You can also help individually, and by doing so, we can swiftly enable the Jelšnik Kovač family to rebuild their lives and start anew.
It is in these moments that our true greatness is revealed when we bring hope to those around us. Together, we can show that we are united and that we care about fellow humans in need.

Help for Rok
Rok Seidl from Pongrac is a 23-year-old who has been in a wheelchair for 6 years since a serious injury at the age of 17. His life before the accident was full of energy and happiness. He enjoyed spending time in nature, working on a farm, and helping his grandmother.
The accident left him paralyzed from the neck down, and after months of recovery, he continued treatment at the URI Soča Rehabilitation Center. Despite the challenges, he has adapted to his new life with the support of his true friends, family, and a positive mindset. He finds solace in music, walks, photography, and spending time in nature.
He dreams of getting a new adapted vehicle through donations to pursue his passion for boccia and potentially participate in the Paralympic Games. He hopes to secure a new vehicle as his current one is worn out. More info: link.

Gornji Grad, let's get together
We joined the Gornji Grad project Let's Get Together, where an extremely hard-working, heartfelt, and connected family of six found themselves in severe financial distress. Years ago, the parents took out a mortgage loan, which they could no longer repay due to unexpected financial problems in the event of losing their jobs. Enforcement followed.
Today, the whole family is crammed into two modest rooms of a house built in 1968, so with the help of heartfelt people, we want to complete the upper floor of the house, where we would arrange rooms for children and a bathroom. The family itself, although both parents are employed, would not be able to do so due to the repayment of old obligations. The desire is to raise as much money as possible in the shortest possible time to complete their home and to be friendly, full of peace and joy of children.
The funds are collected by the Diocesan Caritas Celje. Material, craftsmen, and volunteers also come in handy. You can follow more information, progress, and transparency at this link.

We are moving for Tadej
"His story is like this for a while. Tadej is 41 years old. He has 2 preschool children and a wife who also played volleyball. They are both sports. Last year he cycled and recreated and was not physically challenged. S over time, his body began to tremble, first with cramps, pain and then he was diagnosed with ALS, an autoimmune disease, muscle and nerve death. In Slovenia, doctors told him that it made no sense to try anything. He changed his diet, attended various therapies to help him, and went to a clinic in Switzerland, where he got a few different recommendations ... in short he didn't give up and he doesn't feel sorry for himself and he doesn't want to be pardoned He is strong and he copes with the situation as much as he can despite the situation. He says yes he doesn't need anything, but we, his friends, know that whatever we collect will come in handy. Be it for therapy or family and children.”

For the Verdinek family
The Verdinek family from Frankolovo near Vojnik was cited a major accident on Friday, January 28, 2022. The house was destroyed in a fire that broke out around 11 p.m. The attic burned down completely, and due to a large amount of water, a large part of the lower rooms was also destroyed, as the water flowed right into the basement. More than 60 firefighters from local and surrounding volunteer gas associations battled the blaze.
The family was left without everything overnight. As the insurance procedures for the rehabilitation of accidents are extremely complex and time-consuming, we decided that we at the zYpper Association will also allocate February funds from the charity fund to the Verdinek family.

Vojnik let's get together
We’ve joined the “Vojnik, Let’s Get Together” project, as people too often rush carelessly past each other. The family from Vojnik unexpectedly suffered a heavy loss. Sandra and her sons, seven-year-old Lovro and five-year-old Matevž, were abandoned by their father in his helplessness. Before that, the family slowly made a home in a house in the center of Vojnik with great love. Monthly savings were invested in arranging the interior of the family houses from 1890. The main problem was: moisture in the house, only partially plastered floors, partially heated bathroom, unfinished kitchen and completely dilapidated roof and roofing. The hope for a better life was caused by the death of their father. You can follow all the details of the whole project, which is entering its final phase, here: "Vojnik, let's get together!"
We approach the project and voluntarily donat every month the collected funds, which we raise with our members through association activities. We urge you who can and want to approach this charity individually.
